Our one-of-a-kind baby ring slings are constructed using lightweight vintage Kantha quilts and can be used far beyond toting our little ones around. It can double as a nursing cover up, a swaddle, sunshade or even a stylish infinity scarf by wrapping the extra fabric to cover up the rings.
As with any baby related product, we must address safety. First and foremost, your child’s safety is your own responsibility. We know this product will be carrying the most precious cargo, so we take care in constructing them with quality and safety in mind. As with all of our Kantha pieces, you may notice some loose threads or patches in the fabric, but these are cosmetic imperfections that simply tell the history of the vintage fabrics and are not a compromise in the quality of your finished ring sling.
The rings we use are non-welded brushed aluminum rings from SlingRings.com. These rings have been manufactured using strict guidelines and testing procedures that comply with baby wearing safety standards. The sling is reinforced with multiple rows of decorative stitching to create a sling that is functional, safe, unique and beautiful.
Using our ring slings is simple, but as with anything else, it takes some practice and safety precautions. There are plenty of resources online for safe baby wearing practices, and we recommend getting familiar with all of them before using our carriers. The link below is a great place to start!
